I ran! Not very far, but after my accident, and until quite recently, I really was not sure whether I would ever be able to run again. Also, I drew a bit ;)

A highlight of my April was the completion of the first draft of my comic’s storyboard (in my last letter I was working on it and giving you a peek into my process :)). Yay!! Now I’m waiting for feedback from my editor. In the meantime I’m going to experiment with the final style for the comic – and work on more stories with Loukoum & co. that I can pitch to my publisher. But first, I’ve started a little side project 😁.
I’m slowly recovering (physically and mentally) from my broken femur, and my priority is working on my comic book for Kibitz editions! I initially thought I would provide the storyboard by mid-February, or at the latest by the end of the month, but under the circumstances I made virtually no progress until mid-March.
So I did not manage to send a letter from Mexico 😌. I thought I could just say hello, but on the other hand I had prepared material for a full-blown letter, while not really knowing how to handle it from my mobile phone. Also, jetlag, illnesses, and overwhelm from so many strange and new experiences (and no, in Mexico City – a.k.a. CDMX for ‘Ciudad De MeXico’ 😊️ – you can’t get far speaking English / no Spanish 😬️). So the letter did not happen…
Anyway, here I am now with some eye candy for you 😘️!
Sorry (not too sorry ;)), this will be a long one! At the time I would have been supposed to write the June letter I was in Swedish Lapland, paddling in a packraft, sleeping in a hammock, hiking in a pathless forest, or driving our camper van… It was a bit too much so I had to skip the letter – but shot all the more photos 😅.
